Today me and Kent are going to skate at his place again, assuming it doesn't get rained out, but before we skate we're going to pay a visit to the skate shop (It turns out he's not leaving 'till thursday) cuz he needs a new deck and I'm going to either buy bearings or wheels. If I get bearings, I want them to be either Bones or Flip bearings, (preferably Flip) and if I get wheels I want them to be Ricta or Element. Kent is still not completely decided on his deck of choice, so that's what I'm going to help him with, he was leaning toward an Almost deck, which I said he probably shouldn't get. Don't get me wrong, I love Almost, but they have a hard time lasting very long. I'm helping by using the time before we go to the shop to research decks, (I think Plan B and Zoo York are looking pretty good) we skate street so I am looking at a lot of boards good for street. We WILL NOT be letting anyone on the team unless they live in our area for various reasons, here are those reasons:
1. We don't want to communicate over e-mail or phone, we want to know our skaters.
2. Some skaters could try and take advantage of being on the team and think they could also recruit members without Lifestyle's permission.
3. We don't want anyone sending us fake videos saying it's them when it's really Eric Koston.
4. We want all our people on the Lifestyle videos, and if you live in another city you won't be able to get us any footage unless you send an e-mail. (Like I said, we're not giving out e-mail adresses)
5. How would we talk to each other to discuss matters for Lifestyle? (Like selecting team members, or anything else that comes up)
Well, that's a list of all the reasons you need to be in our area I could think of. But, we would like YOUR help deciding some things, like if we're getting a new member and we have a video of him/her, we will post it on the blog and ask for your opinion if you would help us out with that. Lifestyle Skateboard Team
Well, usually if you see signs like this it's bad. But they really don't seem to care if we skate where I got this pic, me & Kent have been skating at A&M Consolidated High School almost every day, so we got a bunch of footage... We skated with T.J. there once too. There's a gap there that's really awesome, we call it "The Gap", it's a ledge that has a slope of grass immediately under it, and then the curb you also have to make it over to get into the parking lot, you should see this gap in the new Lifestyle video. The video has had a little trouble with progress since we need the cable to one of the cameras and we don't have it, we need it to put T.J.'s part on the video... We also got Lifestyle shirts made! I'll try and post a pic of them soon.
Well, Kent and I went to see Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer today, it was a great movie in my opinion. (Of course I'm biased towards the fact that Jessica Alba's in it) I'll try and make the new Lifestyle video and edit it and all that good stuff tommorow, so stay tuned peeps.

The reason we didn't get much of Matt in the video yet is cuz I had a nice crash doing one of my fun tech tricks and didn't want to go everywhere after that. Plus Matt had to leave early. Man, I was so bored today that I spray painted the brakes on my bike red. Then later, me and another friend were sitting in his dad's car watching the navigation sytem drive itself to Houston. We only had the patience to watch it for 1 hour, but it actually turned out fun and funny... Gooseneck... And, if you were gonna ask, no, you can't know what Gooseneck means. It's a secret. This is a Lamborghini Diablo VT I spotted in a parking lot at my dad's work, it has custom HRE rims, Brembo brake system, exhaust system, and Pirelli tires. I've seen this car here before, I just never had the camera! these are only a few pics I got of it, I tryed to get a pic of the speedometer, which said 220 mph, but it was too dark. Awesome car. In other news, the Mafia still hasn't caught Kent, but in my opinion, HE CAN'T HIDE FOR LONG... You may ask, why is the Mafia after Kent? Well, they aren't, but I like to pretend they are. Today he left to Padre, so I am bored, but seeing the Lambo was exciting. It was coolio. How do you like the new and improved Lifestyle video? If you havn't watched it, watch it, because it features Kent singing toward the end, and me chillin' with some R&B playing in the backround. I spent like a million hours editing it, but I still didn't do the best editing I could have done. Whatever, I'm going to go eat chips and read skateboard magazines in my room while playing slow love songs in my room.
These are the team decks, there are still more coming. The black one and the silver one and the weird crazy one with the clouds are the ones I made, and the green one is Kent's. My signature board is the black, and Kent's signature board is the green. Soon we might make it where you can order these and any other decks we make, the only reason it's taking a while is because we are finding out how many people like them for various reasons. So if you like them, we would LOVE to know. They are 100% Canadian Maple I believe, and most of them right now are between 7.5 and 7.8 inches wide. We designed them on Board Pusher, there's a link to it on my links section over on the right side of the blog, they are totally free to join and make designs, and they're tight like an emo. Don't get me wrong, they aren't emo, (I think) but you get the idea, they're tight... Like an emo... Haha... And don't worry, if we ever sell these, they're made by another company, not us.
